Aliye Yılmaz is an Assistant Professor and member of the scientific board at Süleyman Demirel University, where she specializes in cultural policy. She also serves as a member of the leadership committee for the High Council for National Reconciliation (HCNR) of Afghanistan and was previously the commissioner of the Independent Administrative Reform and Civil Service Commission (ARCSC) in Afghanistan.
Aliye Yılmaz obtained her Ph.D. in Philosophy and Religious Sciences from Ankara University, focusing on the relationship between religion, education, and politics in the region. She wrote her master’s thesis in 2005 on the education and social status of women in Afghanistan. As a human rights advocate, she is the head of the Afghanistan Education, Culture, and Social Assistance Association in Ankara and has conducted educational and cultural studies with the Emir Ali Şir Nevai Foundation, where she is a founding member.
